Stove installation & commissioning.

To install and commission a solid fuel appliance it has to be to building regulation document J. We at CSFS are a member of OFTEC, reg no C102604, and part of the competent persons scheme which enables us to sign off every completed installation and register it with building control. This will give you reassurance and piece of mind that your solid fuel appliance is installed correctly and safely. 

CSFS can supply a defra approved multi fuel/ wood burning stove or we can install your own bought stove. Then we at CSFS can professionally carry out the installation.. If you require building work and a new bespoke hearth and chamber installing please dont hesitate to get in touch and CSFS can cater for your every need.


On all stoves a flue liner is required which assists the stove to work effectively and efficiently. This will be connected to a cowl that sits on your chimney pot and to a closer plate (included in the kit) at the base of the chimney, then connected via a vituoce  pipe.
